In September the Hazmat Team participated in a joint regional training session held at the Detroit rail yard. Hazmat teams from across Southeast, Michigan participated. Team members practiced leak control tactics on Chlorine and Vinyl Chloride vessels ranging from cylinders to rail cars. The training was sponsored by the Chlorine Institute and CN Railroad.
